IRVING, Tx. — The Lady Crusaders (4-2) snapped a two game losing streak and battled cold first half shooting to pull away and beat the cross-town Dallas Christian College Crusaders.

UD shot a frustrating 14.3% in the first half, but bounced back to shoot 48.4% in the second. Senior Guard/Forward Kelly Robertson (Eugene, OR) was the first to light the fire in the second half that set UD up for the win. She finished with 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. Ana Castillo (Senior Forward -- Dallas, TX) proved to be the most proficient from the field, going 4-9 and then also 7-7 from the charity stripe, for 15 points. She also grabbed 10 offensive boards, for 16 on the game.

Dallas Christian College only shot 19% on the game and was lead by Quin Reed (Junior Guard -- Arlington, TX) and her 14 points, 7 rebounds.

UD heads into finals week looking ahead to their next opponent, Austin College (Sherman, TX), whom they host December 14th at 7:30pm.
