Junior forward Steve Kyser (Sylvania/Southview) had a game-high 12 points, while sophomore guards Ryan Wood (Pickerington/Pickerington Central) and Nate Stahl (St. Henry/St. Henry) each scored 11 to lead Capital.
Mike Stanek and Matthew Rucker each scored 8 points off the bench for Marietta as the Pioneers were held to their lowest scoring total of the season at 41 points.
The Crusaders converted nine of its 12 shots from the floor to build a 20-8 lead and never looked back. Capital stretched the lead to 17 points with a 30-13 lead at the half. The second half was more of the same as the lead ballooned to 29 points before the 67-41 final.
