WU’s defense shut down Emory’s offense early in the second half, as the Bears held onto a 40-33 advantage. Brian Giometti then came off the bench for Emory to two hit two three-pointers, highlighting a 10-0 run to gain a 43-40 lead with 11 minutes to play. Julien Williams got Emory’s crowd off its feet with two thunderous dunks pushing the lead to 47-42.
