Pat Coleman has been running D3hoops.com since November 1997, when he took the site over from its founders at the Centennial Conference. Since then, the site has spawned a vast network of websites, covering football, men's and women's soccer, baseball and ice hockey as well as specialty sites for job seekers, a message board and blogs.
Pat has covered every Final Four since 1998, and counts among his personal highlights being able to call play-by-play at every Final Four since 2000, including in 2001, when his alma mater, Catholic University, won the Division III men's basketball national championship.
During the day Pat works as a social media manager for a large corporate travel management company, after working as deputy managing editor at Verizon Headlines, copy desk chief at NBCSports.com and for more than a decade at USA Today. He and his wife Cate have three children: Elizabeth, Robert and Colleen. He has returned to his home state of Minnesota after nearly two decades in the Washington area.
