87, Cortland State 70 Tillman connected on four three-pointers and added a game-high seven assists as the Saints advanced to the Elite Eight versus NYU. Melanie Sloan added 14 points and six rebounds, while Brianne Bognanno added 13 points and three three-pointers. Cortland was led by senior Jen Knox's 15 points and five assists. Sophomore Noelle Picone added 12 points and freshman Michelle Ciquera scored 10 points. The Saints, who led the entire game, got off to an early 13-3 lead and led 41-20 with 2:21 left in the first half. Cortland scored the final six points of the half and trailed 41-26 at halftime. Trailing 55-40 with 12:49 left, Cortland went on a 15-3 run over the next 4:38, capped by a Michelle Ciquera jumper, to draw within 58-55. The Red Dragons were still within 66-63 with 3:58 left on a Kate Smith free throw, but the Saints pulled away with a 10-0 run of their own over the next 2:45. Emmanuel (27-2) made 15 of 16 free throws over the final 3:02 of the contest. The Saints were making their first-ever "Sweet 16" appearance. Cortland finishes
