Wartburg 86, Chapman 78
WAVERLY, Iowa — Wartburg upped its women's basketball win streak to 19 with an 86-78 win over Chapman in an NCAA Tournament game at Knights Gymnasium. The victory moved the Knights' record to 24-4 and put them into a second round game with Nebraska Wesleyan on Saturday. The 24 victories sets a school record for wins in a season.

Wartburg turned in a solid shooting effort, hitting 58.3% from the field, including 62.3% in the first half. Chapman (17-9) kept the contest close, trailing just 43-34 at halftime and moving with two at 74-72 with just under six minutes left. From that point, the Knights finished the game on a 14-6 stretch.

Sophomore center Holly Mohs finished with 21 points and 15 rebounds to lead Wartburg. Junior guard Brianne Schoonover tallied 19 points. Chapman was guided by Missy Bynon's 19 points which included four three-pointers.
